The Henderson is an icon of sustainable commercial buildings in Hong Kong. It has been pre-certified for numerous green and healthy building designations, including LEED and WELL Platinum. We are also set to be one of the first buildings in Hong Kong to achieve a 3-Star rating in both the China Healthy and Green Building Design Labels, in addition to BEAM Plus Platinum certification.

The Henderson's excellent sustainability standards built into its Landlord's provisions will directly benefit the office tenants in achieving their own LEED and WELL accreditations with a view to meeting their ESG targets, encouraging talent attraction, upholding staff retention, increasing work productivity among other benefits.

Green fitting out guide
Green fitting out guide recommends sustainable approaches for interior design and fitting out, including sub-meter installation to optimise energy efficiency and monitoring.

Conduct periodical energy and water usage audits on tenants' premises.
Encouraging tenants to achieve their own leed and well accreditations
Base building design fulfills part of the sustainability requirements to support tenants in achieving targeted office interior ratings in Hong Kong

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

RENEWABLE ENERGY
Rooftop solar panels power the commercial building facilities, which includes the patented Solar Responsive Ventilator on the office floor to maintain indoor thermal comfort.

In the lift system, electricity is generated and utilized through "lift regeneration" to embrace sustainability in Hong Kong.

Sustainable consumables are selected for use in daily building operations and management.
